History of the Bank
Artsakhbank Closed Joined Stock Company is a resident bank of the Republic of Armenia established in February 1996, the License N75 provided by the Central Bank of Armenia.


Artsakhbank CJSC was established in February 1996, the License N75 provided by the CBA. On November 6, 1996, the Bank was reorganized into an Open Joint Stock Company (OJC).

The Bank is one of the founders of ArCa national payment system. Since 2000, it has become a partner and a full member of Armenian Card company.

On June 23 2001, Artsakhbank OJSC was finally reregistered as Artsakhbank CJSC.

Since 2005, the Bank has become a member of MasterCard international payment system which represents such well-known brands of plastic cards as Cirrus/Maestro and MasterCard, accepted in more than 210 countries.

In 2007, the Bank's new trademark was approved and the Bank's new slogan LET'S REACH THE TOP TOGETHER was defined.

Since 2008, the Bank has been implementing target programs towards promoting the development of the country's economy and stimulating mortgage.
